Fight & Heal is a community resource for all those actively committed to collective empowerment and justice. Members and guests are supported to discover and harness their unique alchemy for fighting and healing.

Our mission is to fight for justice while fostering the healing that makes justice possible. We rise against injustice while tending to the healing that brings communities back into balance.

Our Core Programs

Warriors need to heal.
Healers need to fight.

Together, we can take back this world from the exploitative, greedy, and morally bankrupt culture that uses our disconnection from spirit, nature, and each other as a weapon against us. We ground ourselves in a collective ethos aligned with nature and the concept of shared humanity that have inspired and protected our ancestors in the ongoing defense of people from imperialism, colonialism, and white supremacy.

Our mission is to support the fight for justice while fostering the healing that makes our ongoing fight for justice possible. We navigate the challenges of knowing when to engage, when to yield, and how to cultivate a body, mind, and community capable of both protecting and restoring our individual and collective rights.

Fight & Heal House

The Fight & Heal House is currently under renovation and will be launching soon. This intentional community space is being established for practitioners and learners in the fighting and healing arts who are looking for collaboration and support in living in meaningful ways aligned with nature. House guests embrace the Ubuntu concept of shared humanity and come together to find balance, share their gifts, and benefit from our collective wisdom and resources.

Our retreat space emphasizes the balance between fighting and healing: acknowledging the internal battles we all carry while cultivating the tools to mend and transform them. Here, “fighting” refers not only to conflict with external threats, but also to the brave work of facing your patterns, fears, and old stories. In this space, “healing” offers the gentleness, renewal, and care that allow true change to take root. Guests are guided to navigate both sides with intention, resilience, and grace.

Participants in Fight & Heal projects and activities engage in the art of defending your boundaries without closing your heart, of confronting what hurts while also nurturing what restores you. We embrace the understanding that growth often requires being and doing, action and rest, stillness and movement, fire and water—working together instead of against each other.

The practices we collaborate in within and beyond these walls teach us the balance between fighting and healing—honoring strength, discipline, and skill while equally valuing rest, recovery, and inner harmony. Students learn that true mastery isn’t just about power, but about understanding when to engage, when to yield, and how to cultivate a body and mind capable of both protecting and restoring.
